information as well as referrals to state affiliates of NAMI. They will also
send fact sheets. To talk to a volunteer, call Monday-Friday from 10 am to 5
pm EST. At other times, leave name and address to receive info in the mail. You
may also find some state affiliate info online.

A final note

Each of these organizations offers excellent introductory materials about
panic disorder. Even if you already know a lot about the condition, chances are that
friends and family do not. Remember: it's always better to have too much
information than too little.
